Body · Fat Reduction
Cryolipolysis permanently eliminates stubborn fat cells by freezing them — a non-surgical, non-invasive body contouring treatment for areas resistant to diet and exercise. Zero downtime, permanent fat cell elimination.
About This Treatment
Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) works on the principle that fat cells are more sensitive to cold temperatures than surrounding tissue. The device suctions and cools the fat bulge to precisely -5°C to -10°C, causing fat cells to undergo crystallisation and natural cell death (apoptosis). Over 6–12 weeks, the body's lymphatic system gradually eliminates the dead fat cells — permanently removing them from the treated area.
Best suited for patients at or near their target weight with stubborn localised fat deposits that won't budge with diet and exercise. Not recommended for very obese patients — it is a body contouring, not a weight-loss treatment.
How It Works
FAQs
Cryolipolysis is not for obesity — it is best for people who are at or near their target weight but have stubborn localised fat (belly pouch, love handles, inner thighs, double chin) that doesn't respond to diet or exercise.
Yes. The fat cells that are destroyed by cryolipolysis do not regenerate. However, remaining fat cells can enlarge with weight gain — so maintaining a stable weight is important.
1–3 cycles per area depending on the volume of fat. Many patients see excellent results after a single cycle; others choose 2–3 for greater reduction.
The first 5–10 minutes feel intensely cold, then the area goes numb and the session is comfortable. After the session, the treated area may feel tender and numb for a few days — completely normal.
Belly, love handles/flanks, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, double chin, bra fat, back fat, and knees.
